About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides natural golden hour lighting for architectural visualisation and 3D rendering. The environment map captures a panoramic view of a grassy park landscape during the golden hour. It features a winding asphalt path cutting through lush, tall green vegetation and rolling hills. The background reveals a distant cityscape under a clear, bright blue sky with soft, directional sunlight. This high-dynamic-range file provides balanced illumination, suitable for casting realistic shadows and generating natural reflections on architectural surfaces. The composition is wide and open, offering a versatile backdrop for exterior scenes that require a tranquil, naturalistic setting with a sense of elevation and distance.

The download is a 5.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the HDR file into the world environment or dome light slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene’s primary light source. Because the map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically influence the intensity and colour temperature of your global illumination. Use the exposure control settings within your software to fine-tune the ambient light levels, ensuring that the background plate matches the scale and perspective of your architectural model.

This HDRI is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly for residential developments, park designs, or urban planning projects located in greenfield sites. It pairs effectively with modern or contemporary building designs that require a soft, natural context. Professionals can use this asset during the concept development or final rendering stages to establish a realistic sense of place. Search for this file when you need a clear, bright outdoor environment that provides consistent, high-quality lighting for architectural projects set within a park or suburban landscape.
