About this asset

This 2K equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic afternoon sun lighting for outdoor architectural visualisations. The environment captures a wide-angle view of a rural autumn meadow, characterised by dry golden grasses and a dense treeline showing autumnal foliage in shades of orange and brown. The scene is set under a clear, bright blue sky with the sun positioned to create high-contrast natural lighting. It includes distinct ground textures and a visible horizon line typical of open field landscapes. The composition is designed to offer balanced, natural illumination, suitable for casting crisp shadows in 3D renders that require a realistic, temperate seasonal atmosphere for exterior site integration.

The download is a 6.1 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this.hdr file into the environment or world lighting slot of your rendering engine. Because it is an equirectangular projection, it will map seamlessly across a spherical dome or background environment. Adjust the exposure or intensity values within your software to match the specific scene requirements. For optimal results, ensure your render settings are configured to use the map for both background visibility and global illumination, allowing the warm, directional sunlight to influence the diffuse lighting of your 3D assets.

This asset is suited for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly for residential projects or landscape design proposals located in rural or semi-rural settings. It provides effective ambient lighting for projects that require a natural, seasonal backdrop during the fall. Professionals can use this map to establish a consistent light environment for site-specific renderings, ensuring that shadows and highlights on building facades align with the sun position captured in the panorama. It pairs well with vegetation libraries and exterior site furniture in large-scale masterplan scenes.
