About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides soft, overcast natural lighting for 3D scenes, featuring an autumn park setting. Captured in an urban park, this environment map depicts a tranquil scene during an overcast autumn day. The perspective features a wide-angle view of cobblestone paths scattered with fallen leaves, framed by mature trees with thinning foliage. Several park benches are positioned along the walkways, providing scale and context. The lighting is diffuse and soft, characteristic of a cloudy sky, which eliminates harsh shadows and provides uniform ambient illumination suitable for realistic exterior rendering. The composition offers a balanced, neutral background that integrates well with various architectural styles and outdoor project types.

The download is a 7 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this environment map, load the.hdr file into your rendering engine's world or environment lighting slot. Because the image is captured with high dynamic range, it will act as the primary light source for your scene, providing accurate ambient light and reflections. Adjust the exposure and rotation parameters within your software to align the light direction with your project's specific orientation, ensuring the diffuse, overcast lighting contributes to a natural, realistic appearance in your final render.

This asset is suitable for architectural visualisations requiring a natural, diffused outdoor setting, such as residential developments, public park designs, or urban regeneration projects. It pairs effectively with exterior building models, landscape designs, and street furniture. Search for this file when you need a muted, autumnal atmosphere that avoids the intensity of direct sunlight, ensuring your 3D models of paving, vegetation, or outdoor seating appear naturally integrated within a realistic, soft-lit environment during the early design or final presentation stages of a project.
