About this asset

This traditional church interior HDRI environment map provides realistic interior lighting for architectural visualisations. Captured from a central position, this equirectangular environment map features a traditional sanctuary with a prominent wooden curved ceiling and rows of timber pews. The layout includes a raised pulpit area accented by a red carpet runner that guides the eye through the space. White walls contrast with the warm wood tones of the ceiling and furniture, creating a balanced, bright atmosphere. The scene captures the architectural scale of the hall, including mezzanine levels and projection screens, providing a complete 360-degree representation of the church interior for realistic lighting and background integration.

The download is a 6.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the exposure and rotation to align the light sources with your 3D geometry. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will effectively illuminate your scene, casting realistic shadows and reflections based on the church's interior lighting conditions. Ensure your project scale is set correctly to allow the environment map to provide accurate reflections on glass and polished surfaces throughout your 3D model.

This asset is suitable for architectural visualisations requiring authentic ecclesiastical or large-scale interior environments. It pairs well with projects involving public halls, community centres, or heritage buildings. Professionals can use this map for interior design renderings, event planning simulations, or film set visualisation. Search for this file when you need warm, diffuse lighting or a ready-made background for interior scenes that require a sense of volume, tradition, and architectural depth, particularly in religious or historic building design contexts.
