Engineered for sloped rooflines, this triangular casement Revit window family replicates the Kolbe Ultra Series profile with detailed sash framing. The model represents a three-sided specialty window unit with a right-angled triangular geometry. Outer perimeter brickmould casing features multi-stepped moulding profiles, wrapping an intermediate subframe and an angled interior sash frame. In elevation, the assembly displays distinct profile offsets between the outer extrusion, the sash perimeter, and the central single-pane glazing infill. Crisp perimeter contours outline the sloped sill, vertical jamb, and diagonal head member. Glazing is modelled flush to the sash rebate, capturing authentic architectural fenestration depths for facade modeling and interior reveal coordination.
The download is a 502 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load the RFA component directly into your Revit project and host it into an exterior vertical wall assembly. Elevation and section views cleanly represent profile lines and reveal details for construction documentation. Instance and type parameters can be adjusted in the Properties palette, allowing material reassignment to frame, sash, and glazing subcategories to match project-wide finishes.
Designed for cathedral ceilings, clerestory configurations, and gable end walls, this specialty unit integrates seamlessly into modern custom residences, mountain chalets, and transitional suburban houses. The angled geometry pairs alongside standard rectangular casement or awning units to create expansive multistory window walls. Architects and visualizers searching for rake windows, gable glazing, and custom architectural fenestration can utilize this parametric Revit component across concept elevations, permitting drawings, and presentation renderings.
