About this asset

Designed for high-performance thermal envelopes, this triple-glazed passive house window Revit family features detailed frame geometry and glazing layers. The component exhibits an advanced assembly tailored for low-energy building construction, highlighted by a triple-pane insulated glazing unit with defined cavity spacers. A stepped, multi-chambered sash and frame rebate profile models thermal bridging mitigation and airtight sealing junctions. The family structure demonstrates precise alignment with standard cavity wall reference planes, incorporating dedicated sub-frame, sill, and reveal offsets. Clean graphic representation ensures readable linework at both coarse and fine detail levels, providing clear demarcations between structural wall substrates, insulation continuity zones, and the insulated window jamb assembly.

The download is a 369 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this wall-hosted family directly into your Revit project and place it into exterior wall types. Verify rough opening dimensions and sill height parameters to align with project schedules. Adjust material finish parameters for the interior sash, external casing, and glazing pane components. For detailing workflows, the section linework cleanly interfaces with native wall cut layers and insulation detail items across plans and sections.

Essential for certified Passive House schemes, net-zero residential architecture, and sustainable commercial developments, this window model suits technical design and construction documentation phases. It coordinates effectively with deep exterior insulation assemblies, rainscreens, and high-performance timber frame constructions. Architects searching for triple glazed casement units, high-performance fenestration families, insulated envelope assemblies, and low-U-value Revit window models will find this component directly applicable for sustainable exterior detailing.
