This traditional push-out awning window Revit family features two side-by-side sashes with divided lites and profiled exterior casing. The window assembly presents a horizontal two-wide awning configuration divided by a central mullion. Each unit incorporates a wide perimeter sash holding glazed panes separated by rectangular divided lite muntins in a six-over-six arrangement. The sash profiles display an off-white finish, surrounded by a stepped exterior casing trim rendered in an olive-green tone. Clear blue-tinted glazing infills the apertures, simulating dual glazing. The low, elongated horizontal proportions lend themselves to clerestory or basement ribbon applications while providing architectural exterior trim detailing around the entire perimeter.
The download is a 1.1 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
As a native Revit window component, load the family directly into project templates or active models for insertion along building envelopes. Adjust instance parameters such as head and sill heights to position the unit correctly along facade views. Material finish parameters can be assigned through object styles or family type properties, coordinating sash and frame finishes with exterior specifications and automated window schedules.
Suited for residential and boutique hospitality schemes, this awning unit works well in transitional, craftsman, and traditional facades. Position it above kitchen counters, beneath roof eaves, or within ribbon arrangements along living rooms, basements, and master suites where controlled ventilation is needed. Designers can specify it alongside matching casement, double-hung, or picture window assemblies when developing detailed elevation sheets, exterior renderings, and comprehensive window tag schedules.
