About this asset

Classic arched window Revit family featuring a brown timber double-leaf casement and arched transom, modelled for architectural Revit projects. Representing the Banarasi archtop series, this window unit features a tall semicircular arched profile with exterior wall-mounted decorative framing. Constructed with dark brown timber framing, the assembly includes twin glazed casement leaves beneath a fixed radiating arched transom. Fine glazing bars divide the glass panes into balanced vertical and semicircular lights, complemented by an integrated projecting exterior sill and classical masonry surround. The proportions emphasize verticality, providing substantial daylighting while preserving traditional architectural character through detailed millwork and masonry reveal trims.

The download is a 2.5 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load the.rfa family directly into a Revit project and position it into exterior wall layouts as needed. Adjust sill heights and elevation alignments to coordinate cleanly with project datums. Graphic subcategories allow flexible material mapping across timber frames, glass panes, and decorative trim mouldings, supporting crisp elevation linework, window schedules, and coordinated architectural visualisations without requiring geometry adjustments.

Suitable for classical residential villas, heritage restoration projects, boutique hospitality, and traditional vernacular architecture, this arched timber window enhances exterior facades and courtyard elevations. It pairs seamlessly with stone claddings, exterior stucco, and traditional balustrades. Designers frequently search for arched casement windows, Banarasi framed windows, timber arched fenestration, and historic Revit window families when detailing characterful exterior envelopes during design development and documentation phases.
