About this asset

Suspended overhead roll-up gymnasium divider curtain Revit family designed with top support beam brackets and a continuous partition panel. A large-span spatial partition designed for athletic and educational facilities. The assembly consists of a horizontal tubular overhead drive pipe held in place by four evenly spaced top mounting brackets suited for structural truss connection. Suspended beneath is a broad, continuous drop panel divided visually into upper and lower sections, mimicking typical solid vinyl and mesh fieldhouse fabric configurations. Clean geometry and minimal detailing provide clear clearance representation without overwhelming project models with dense polygon meshes.

The download is a 369 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this specialty equipment component directly into your Revit project to represent athletic divider curtains in section, elevation, and plan coordination. Position the family beneath roof framing or truss chords to evaluate spatial division, head clearance, and MEP coordination around suspended lighting and ductwork. Material mapping can be adjusted through Revit type or instance parameters to match project interior schedules.

Essential for indoor sports halls, multipurpose community centres, secondary school gymnasiums, and university fieldhouses where basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts require temporary acoustic and visual separation. It integrates naturally into architectural sports facility layouts alongside court markings, wall padding, and retractable bleachers. Typical search terms for this specialty equipment item include roll-up gym divider, sports hall curtain, motorized partition, and overhead gymnasium curtain.
