About this asset

Modern black glass and stainless steel downdraft range hood Revit family featuring a retractable countertop profile with integrated linear LED illumination. Constructed as a sleek, countertop-integrated pop-up unit, this appliance showcases a polished black glass front panel framed by vertical brushed stainless steel stiles. The slender top cap incorporates subtle touch-control indicators alongside an angled horizontal aperture housing a continuous linear LED strip for cooktop task lighting. When deployed, the rectangular housing rises vertically behind the cooking surface to extract steam and cooking vapours directly at source, retracting flush into the worktop when idle to preserve sightlines across open layouts.

The download is a 307 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Designed for seamless integration into technical kitchen plans, this Revit family inserts directly adjacent to cooktops or into countertop cabinetry joinery. BIM coordinators can align the unit with island base cabinets while verifying ducting route clearance and electrical connection provisions below counter level. Material parameters allow easy matching of glass and metal finishes to coordinate with surrounding kitchen equipment.

Ideal for high-spec contemporary residential kitchens, luxury penthouse developments, and open-plan island layouts where overhead extractors would obstruct visual connections. This telescopic hob extractor coordinates naturally with flush induction hobs, marble or composite worktops, and minimalist handleless cabinetry. Interior designers and architects frequently specify this unit in interior schematics, detailed joinery packs, and photorealistic kitchen renderings.
