Constructed for utility back-of-house areas, this Revit family platform weighing scale features a low-profile base, safety rail, and digital display. The scale comprises a low-profile rectangular weighing platform set on four disc-style levelling feet for uneven floor placement. A tubular metal back rail rises along the rear edge, providing structural support and securing sacks or bulk goods during weighing operations. Positioned behind the platform, a vertical mounting post carries an elevated, angled digital indicator head with an integrated display panel. The fixture features dark grey metallic finishes across the load receptor and guard rail, complemented by an off-white digital terminal housing.
The download is a 471 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Engineered as a standalone Revit specialty equipment family, this component places directly onto finished floor levels in project plans. Floor clearance and overall footprint can be coordinated with receiving docks, dry storage shelving, or kitchen preparation islands. Material and graphics subcategories allow rapid presentation adjustments across hidden-line coordination views, shaded layouts, and rendered presentations without modifying the host project's default visibility graphics.
Ideal for commercial food service back-of-house layouts, hospitality receiving bays, logistics depots, and healthcare waste or linen sorting facilities. Kitchen planners and BIM managers commonly search for commercial platform scale, receiving dock scale, or specialty equipment food service families when setting out stock delivery routes, inventory check-in points, and bulk ingredient storage zones during schematic design and technical detailing stages.
