Designed for healthcare emergency fit-outs, this EMS spine board Revit family features an integrated head immobilizer and securing harness straps. Modelled as a rigid rescue backboard, the unit features an elongated contoured profile with tapered foot geometry and multiple peripheral cutouts serving as carry handles and strap anchors. A dual-block head immobilizer with ear clearance holes mounts near the top, secured by transverse head straps. Horizontal retaining straps extend across the torso and leg sections over a central vertical spine belt. Distinctive orange immobilizer blocks and restraint webbing contrast against the light tan board shell, complete with red cross identification markings and numerical labelling.
The download is a 707 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
In Revit, this specialty equipment family loads directly into project templates for room layout planning and schedule coordination. It can be positioned flat on gurney fixtures, stored on wall brackets, or integrated inside emergency response enclosures. Designers can adjust subcategory visibility settings to manage graphic overrides across floor plans, interior elevations, and coordination views.
Ideal for hospital emergency departments, urgent care clinics, trauma bays, and ambulance dispatch bays, this medical asset completes accurate clinical space planning. It also suits safety stations within sports stadiums, municipal aquatic centres, industrial plant first aid rooms, and educational campus health centres. The model pairs effectively with crash carts, wall cabinets, first aid kits, and patient stretchers during technical fit-out stages.
