Designed for AV coordination, this Revit family features a ceiling-mounted metal projector mount with adjustable spider arms and pitch tilt knuckle. Built from folded sheet metal and machined fasteners, the assembly comprises a top circular-profile ceiling plate with multiple fixing perforations, a multi-axis tilt and swivel knuckle, and a four-point spider bracket below. The central articulation includes heavy-duty pivot bolts and tightening collars for fine pitch, roll, and yaw alignment. At the base, four slotted extending arms radiate outward, equipped with threaded standoffs and cap screws to accommodate diverse projector chassis mounting footprints. The entire hardware fixture is rendered in a uniform industrial matte grey finish.
The download is a 440 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load the RFA component into your Revit project template and align it directly to structural slabs, unistrut framing, or suspended ceiling planes. The geometry provides accurate physical clearance volumes for clash detection in MEP and AV coordination models. Visibility settings and detail levels allow crisp representation in reflected ceiling plans, AV section details, and technical interior elevations without bogging down file performance.
Suitable for commercial boardrooms, university lecture halls, training facilities, and auditorium spaces, this ceiling accessory coordinates projector placement relative to projection screens and line-of-sight sightlines. It pairs cleanly with ceiling cable drops, recessed AV boxes, and Christie digital projection units. Specifiers and BIM coordinators searching for ceiling projector brackets, AV mounting hardware, or specialty classroom equipment can seamlessly incorporate this fixture into technical ceiling schedules and installation drawings.
