About this asset

This van accessible parking sign is a Revit family featuring a standard regulatory layout for accessible parking compliance. This signage assembly features a vertically stacked arrangement of regulatory parking plates mounted on a single post. The primary top sign displays the international symbol of accessibility and the text 'Van Accessible'. Below this, a smaller secondary sign specifies a fine amount, followed by a larger bottom sign containing detailed legal text regarding towing and police contact information. The geometry is lightweight, designed for clear legibility in site plans and 3D perspectives. The entire assembly is presented as a clean, singular unit, maintaining standard proportions for parking lot infrastructure and code-compliant site markers.

The download is a 1.1 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit family, this component is designed for placement within site plans or 3D site models. Users can load the RFA file directly into their project environment and host it on a ground plane or site topography. The family is optimized for visibility at various scales, ensuring that the text remains legible in both plan views and rendered site walkthroughs. It is a standard instance-based element that allows for quick adjustment of its position and orientation in the site layout.

This sign is essential for architects and site engineers working on commercial, retail, or healthcare developments requiring ADA-compliant parking facilities. It is used during the design development and construction documentation phases to denote accessible parking stalls for vans. Professionals searching for site furniture, parking lot accessories, or regulatory signage will find this asset useful for populating site plans, ensuring that all accessible routes and parking bays meet local planning requirements and provide clear visual instructions for site users.
