Vintage White Porcelain Freestanding Bathtub – Kohler K-700

Freestanding vintage oval soaking bathtub modelled as a Revit family, featuring a wide rolled rim and an integrated decorative pedestal base. Reflecting traditional bathing design, this freestanding bath fixture presents a deep oval soaking basin crowned with an elegant rolled lip along its upper perimeter. The tub rests securely on a molded, plinth-style pedestal base that subtly conceals rough-in connections while lending historic architectural weight to the piece. Finished in a clean, reflective white porcelain enamel, the symmetrical silhouette incorporates an overflow drain detail along the internal sidewall. The generous double-ended interior profile allows comfortable reclining at either end, faithfully reproducing early twentieth-century sanitaryware geometry.

The download is a 164 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Engineered as a lightweight Revit family, this component loads cleanly into MEP and architectural project files without impacting model performance. Place the bathtub directly onto finished floor levels in plan views or 3D perspectives, positioning it easily relative to floor-mounted or wall-mounted filler valves. The native family geometry supports precise placement within plumbing fixture schedules, standard section generation, and clean join behaviour with custom floor build-ups.

Tailored for high-end residential master bathrooms, heritage renovations, boutique hospitality suites, and period estates, this tub anchors classic interior schemes. It harmonises naturally with traditional pedestal lavatories, unlacquered brass or polished chrome floor-mount fittings, and wainscoted bathroom interiors. Designers frequently specify this profile for vintage bathroom layouts, farmhouse master suites, luxury hotel bathrooms, and historic restoration packages requiring authentic period proportions and dependable BIM documentation.
