Industrial brass pressure regulator Revit family featuring an in-line body with dual threaded union connections and an adjustable bonnet screw. The unit comprises a cast metal valve body with a horizontal flow orientation indicated by directional arrow markings. Two threaded male union couplings flank the central chamber, providing direct mechanical pipe joints. Rising above the lower assembly, a tapered bell-shaped bonnet in a matte brown protective coating houses the internal diaphragm and spring assembly. A hex-headed adjustment screw and lock nut crown the top stem, allowing calibrated spring tension setting. A durable identification specification plate is fastened along the neck, while hex bolts secure the perimeter of the circular bonnet flange to the main pressure chamber.
The download is a 389 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Designed for mechanical and plumbing layouts, this Revit family integrates into distribution runs via pipe connection points. MEP coordinators can insert the fitting directly into domestic water or heating line paths, aligning connector diameters and flow direction parameters. The family provides clear geometric clearance envelopes for maintenance access around the adjustment bolt, facilitating clash detection in plant rooms and coordination with surrounding structural or ductwork elements.
