Molded from durable industrial plastic, this Lil-Max grease interceptor Revit family features an integrated access cover and ribbed structural tank. This compact grease trap unit is engineered with a boxy, ribbed polymer body designed to resist structural deformation under internal water pressure or external backfill. A flush-fitting access cover seals the top perimeter with perimeter recesses for fasteners or latch mechanisms. The exterior sidewalls exhibit heavy vertical reinforcing ribs, horizontal stiffening bands, and cylindrical knockout bosses for versatile rough-in placement. A cylindrical pipe stub protrudes from the side face to serve as an inlet or discharge connection for commercial drainage lines, finished in a matte, utilitarian sage-grey plastic.
The download is a 481 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load this RFA component directly into Autodesk Revit MEP projects under the plumbing equipment category. Place the unit on finished slab levels or recess it within floor build-ups and base cabinetry. Connect foul drainage runs directly to the integrated pipework connector stubs to calculate system fixtures and maintain sanitary slope definitions across mechanical piping layouts.
Essential for hospitality fit-outs, commercial kitchens, employee cafeterias, and food service venues, this interceptor manages fats, oils, and grease before effluent reaches the main municipal sewer. Engineers and architectural technicians incorporate this asset during design development and technical documentation phases. It coordinates accurately with commercial dishwashers, three-compartment prep sinks, and under-counter plumbing runs where grease trap spatial clearance and maintenance accessibility must be verified.
