About this asset

This Syrios W1230l ceiling-mounted downlight is a Revit family featuring a robust metallic housing designed for refined architectural interiors. The Syrios W1230l is a compact, cylindrical downlight designed for flush or semi-recessed ceiling installation. Its primary structure consists of a metallic housing characterized by a distinct, tiered heat-sink aesthetic, which provides both a technical look and efficient thermal management. The finish is a deep, warm brown metallic tone, adding a subtle industrial texture to the ceiling plane. The light aperture is centrally positioned, allowing for a focused beam spread. The geometry is clean and precise, suitable for detailed BIM documentation where luminaire profile and physical presence are required for coordination.

The download is a 195 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is ceiling-hosted, allowing for simple placement on standard or compound ceiling types. Users can adjust the elevation offset to align the unit with specific ceiling systems. The geometry is lightweight, ensuring minimal impact on model performance while maintaining enough detail for reflected ceiling plans and section cuts. Lighting parameters can be assigned within the family editor to control intensity and beam angles for rendering or analysis workflows.

This luminaire is well-suited for high-end residential, commercial office, and hospitality projects where a clean, modern aesthetic is preferred. It integrates seamlessly into corridors, lobby spaces, and task-oriented zones. Professionals often source this type of component for lighting layouts in contemporary interiors, pairing it with other recessed or track-lighting systems. It is effective for stage-specific documentation, from initial design development through to final construction sets, providing a reliable representation for both electrical schedules and visual coordination with other ceiling-mounted services.
