About this asset

This traditional gold metal banker desk lamp is a native Revit family featuring a classic cylindrical shade and a slim stem. This classic banker-style task lamp features a distinct horizontal cylindrical shade mounted on a slender vertical stem supported by a circular base. The entire structure is finished in a polished gold-tone metal, reflecting a traditional aesthetic common in libraries and formal offices. The shade is designed to direct light downwards, providing focused illumination for workspaces. Its proportions are compact and balanced, making it suitable for placement on desks, side tables, or library shelving units. The simple geometry and metallic finish provide a timeless, elegant look that complements both vintage and formal interior design schemes.

The download is a 51 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit family, this luminaire is designed for placement on flat surfaces such as workstations or side tables. Users can load the RFA file into a project and use the host-based functionality to snap the lamp onto furniture tops. The light source is pre-configured for integration into interior rendering workflows. Adjust the light intensity and colour temperature via the family type parameters to ensure accurate lighting calculations and high-quality visualisations within your project environment.

This banker lamp is ideal for adding character and functional task lighting to residential home offices, traditional libraries, or executive study spaces. It pairs well with solid timber desks, leather-bound books, and classic interior furnishings. Architects and interior designers often specify this type of luminaire for heritage-style projects or to introduce a touch of gold-toned elegance to a room. It is a reliable choice for creating a warm, focused atmosphere in professional or private study settings where traditional aesthetics are required.
