About this asset

This contemporary layered fabric curtain set for SketchUp features dual-tone terracotta and beige panels with sheer under-drapes. This window treatment ensemble consists of a double-layered system designed to provide both privacy and light diffusion. The primary opaque panels are rendered in a warm terracotta hue, featuring natural vertical folds and a soft, matte textile finish. Behind these, a set of white sheer curtains provides a translucent barrier, adding depth and volume to the window dressing. The assembly is structured to appear floor-to-ceiling, creating a clean, architectural line that integrates seamlessly with wall surfaces. The fabric material is modelled with realistic pleating, suggesting a standard pinch-pleat or grommet header attachment.

The download is a 92.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a component, allowing for easy scaling to match specific window height and width requirements. Users should apply a semi-transparent material setting to the sheer panels to ensure correct light transmission during rendering. The model is organised with clear layer tagging, enabling the toggling of the opaque and sheer layers independently. Ensure the geometry is placed at the correct offset from the wall surface to avoid Z-fighting with window frames or interior wall finishes.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a layered, sophisticated aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with contemporary interior schemes, complementing neutral palettes or accenting earthy tones in modern decor. Professionals searching for soft window treatments, textile assets for architectural visualisation, or realistic interior finishing touches will find this asset versatile for both daylight and evening lighting scenarios. The set provides a high-quality visual anchor for any room requiring a refined, finished look.
