Table Lamp with Phallic Abstract Form

This modern table lamp, provided as a Revit family, features a distinct abstract sculptural form housed within a spherical glass shade. The lamp consists of a heavy, grey-toned base supporting a central vertical column and spherical elements, all enclosed within a large, translucent spherical shade. The internal structure is finished in a bold red, contrasting sharply against the neutral base. The geometric composition is unconventional, prioritising a sculptural aesthetic over traditional task-lighting profiles. The Revit family includes clear geometry for the base and the shade, allowing for material assignment within the project environment. Its proportions are compact, making it suitable for placement on side tables or console surfaces where a statement piece is required.

The download is a 338 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family functions as a standard lighting fixture component. Users can load the RFA file directly into their project, where it can be placed on work planes or hosted on furniture surfaces. The material parameters allow for customisation of the base and the shade's transparency, enabling designers to adjust the visual output for rendering. Ensure the light source intensity and photometric data are adjusted within the family editor to suit the specific project lighting requirements and intended atmospheric effect.
