About this asset

This modern cylindrical pendant light is a Revit family featuring a clean metal-and-glass design suitable for contemporary interiors. The pendant light features a slender, elongated cylindrical form that provides a direct downward light output. It is constructed with a metallic top and bottom cap, finished in a neutral silver tone, which frames a frosted or translucent glass diffuser body. The fixture is suspended by a slim, adjustable cable from a simple ceiling canopy. Its minimalist geometry and balanced proportions make it a versatile architectural element for clean, uncluttered spaces. The design allows for individual installation or grouping in clusters to create rhythmic lighting patterns across high-ceilinged volumes or circulation areas.

The download is a 399 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this fixture is loaded as a face-based family, allowing for easy placement on ceilings or structural soffits. Users can adjust the suspension height by modifying the offset parameter within the properties palette. The family includes nested light source definitions for accurate photometric analysis and rendering. Ensure the material parameters are mapped to project-specific finishes to maintain consistency across the model’s schedule and visual output during the design development phase.

This luminaire is ideal for contemporary residential entryways, office reception areas, or hotel lobbies where a subtle, vertical lighting statement is required. It pairs well with high-ceilinged open-plan spaces and works effectively when arranged in linear or irregular clusters. Designers typically search for these when specifying modern suspended lighting for commercial or high-end residential projects. Use this asset to enhance the spatial quality of circulation paths, dining zones, or task-oriented areas requiring focused, clean, and unobtrusive illumination.
