About this asset

This classic pendant light is a Revit family featuring a clean drum-style shade suspended by a structured metal frame. The Hood Classic Pendant Light features a minimalist cylindrical drum shade, likely crafted from frosted or opal glass to provide diffused illumination. It is suspended from a circular ceiling canopy via a three-point rod or cable assembly, finished in a matte black metal. The design balances traditional proportions with clean lines, making it versatile for various interior styles. Its structure is simple, focusing on the contrast between the dark hardware and the soft, translucent light source. The overall form is compact, suitable for lower ceiling heights or focused task lighting applications.

The download is a 553 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a Revit family, this pendant light is designed to be hosted by ceiling elements within a project file. Users should load the RFA file into their lighting category and place it using the ceiling-hosted command. Once positioned, the light offset can be adjusted in the properties palette to suit specific ceiling heights. Ensure that the light source definition is correctly oriented for accurate rendering in integrated engines, and adjust the material parameters to match your project's specific finish requirements.
