Built in classic masonry, this traditional red brick fireplace Revit family features a projected hearth, a simple mantel shelf, and a tall three-pot chimney. The model presents an authentic running-bond brickwork construction with a prominent cantilevered brick hearth and a matching brick surround. Above the rectangular combustion opening sits a contrasting pale lintel or mantel shelf, framing the recessed metal firebox screen. Extending upward behind the wall boundary, a full-height rectangular masonry chimney column rises to terminate in three rounded ceramic chimney pots. The integrated host wall geometry represents the building enclosure boundary, showing how the masonry breast sits partially recessed while extending forward into the interior space.
The download is a 461 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Designed as a wall-hosted Revit component, the family inserts directly into standard project wall assemblies with automatic void cutting. Users can align the base with finished floor levels and adjust instance or type parameters for chimney height and flue coordination. Material assets for the brickwork, mantel, and hearth can be remapped through standard Revit material parameters to coordinate with interior and exterior finishes.
This masonry fixture suits single-family residential architecture, countryside villas, mountain lodges, and traditional renovation projects. It serves as a visual anchor in living rooms, great rooms, libraries, and master suites during schematic design through construction documentation. Specifiers and BIM coordinators searching for residential brick hearths, masonry chimneys, or traditional hearth assemblies will find this family straightforward to incorporate into full building models.
