About this asset

Traditional dark brown wood two-drawer chest Revit family representing the classic Ikea Hemnes bedside table with recessed fronts and knob pulls. Featuring a dark stained pine wood grain finish, this compact storage unit is styled after the familiar Hemnes silhouette. Two equal-height pull-out drawers sit within the central frame, each detailed with a single centered round knob pull and smooth flat-faced drawer panels. Straight chamfered trim lines along the upper and lower framing give the unit a disciplined, classic aesthetic with visible wood texture throughout the dark brown finish.

The download is a 246 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Designed for Revit interior workflows, this standalone furniture family can be loaded directly into project environments and hosted onto active floor levels. Users can position it adjacent to bed frames or seating layouts using standard align and move commands. Material parameters allow practice-specific finishes or custom surface textures to be applied across the wooden carcass and hardware elements. The compact file size ensures smooth navigation in floor plans, elevations, and 3D perspectives.

This versatile two-drawer unit functions effectively as a bedroom nightstand, guestroom bedside table, or small accent chest in residential apartments and hospitality suites. Its understated proportions also suit domestic home office settings or entryway alcoves requiring supplementary drawer storage. Designers frequently specify this piece alongside upholstered double beds, minimal table lamps, and reading sconces when developing interior elevations, staging master bedrooms, or compiling FF&E schedules for multi-family residential schemes.
