About this asset

This set of two modern potted indoor plants in SketchUp format features lush fern-like foliage in contrasting black and white planters. This asset includes two distinct potted plants featuring fine, feathery green foliage arranged on slender, branching stems. The plants are set in minimalist cylindrical containers—one finished in matte black and the other in white with a subtle vertical ribbed texture. The base of each pot is filled with a light-toned gravel top-dressing, providing a clean and contemporary aesthetic. The foliage density is designed to balance visual weight, making these suitable for populating interior corners or flanking doorways in high-end residential or commercial design proposals where greenery is essential.

The download is a 100 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, load these components into your model using the component browser to maintain manageable file sizes. Use the scale tool to adjust the height to fit specific interior volumes, and ensure the axes are correctly oriented for placement on floor surfaces. If rendering with external plugins, verify that the material mapping for the leaves is preserved to maintain the translucency and depth of the foliage, and consider using layers to toggle visibility during the modelling process.

These plants are ideal for adding organic texture to living rooms, hotel lobbies, and office reception areas. They work well in mid-century or minimalist interior schemes, pairing effectively with neutral palettes and natural timber furniture. Search for these when specifying biophilic design elements, corner fillers for tight circulation spaces, or decorative accents for retail showroom displays. They are particularly useful for adding life to sterile 3D environments without overwhelming the architectural form, serving as versatile assets for both residential and hospitality projects.
