The percussion instrument assembly consists of a traditional steelpan barrel and an adjustable tripod base. Modeled with a deep cylindrical body, a rolled top lip perimeter, and an interior concave playing surface, the drum tilts forward at an ergonomic performance angle. It attaches via side mounting brackets to a central vertical shaft. The lower support frame includes three splayed tubular metal legs braced with secondary horizontal struts and terminated with solid non-slip foot pads.
