Modern Compact Single-Drawer Desk – IKEA Micke

Minimalist compact desk Revit family modelled after the IKEA Micke series, featuring a single front drawer and asymmetrical supporting legs. Defined by clean geometric contours, this compact desk incorporates a full-width slim pull-out drawer positioned directly below the working desktop surface. The support structure utilizes an asymmetrical base configuration, composed of a solid panel gable on one end paired with an open rectangular metal loop leg on the opposite side. Its compact footprint is engineered specifically for space-constrained study nooks and bedrooms. The rectilinear silhouette offers straightforward visual alignment against partition walls, maintaining unobstructed legroom beneath the front apron while providing concealed storage for stationery, writing pads, and everyday office accessories.

The download is a 246 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Delivered as a lightweight native Revit component, this furniture family inserts effortlessly onto floor plan levels or interior host slabs. The clean linework ensures crisp representation across hidden line, wireframe, and shaded elevations, preventing excessive project file bloat. Users can assign project-specific materials and shading definitions to the frame and casing subcategories, facilitating smooth transition from documentation drawings into realistic interior rendering workflows.
