About this asset

This contemporary floor-length fabric curtain SketchUp scene features a double-layered window treatment in a soft off-white tone. This asset presents a full-height window treatment solution, composed of a dense, opaque outer curtain paired with a lightweight, translucent sheer underlay. The curtains are rendered with soft, natural vertical folds that suggest a heavy linen or cotton-blend fabric, extending from ceiling to floor. The scene includes the window wall, a light-grey area rug, a minimalist side table, and two stylized character figurines. The composition focuses on the interplay of light filtering through the sheer layer, creating a balanced, neutral aesthetic suitable for high-end residential interior visualizations.

The download is a 90.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is structured as a collection of grouped objects, allowing for easy selection and adjustment of the curtain geometry to fit custom window openings. Users can apply custom materials to the fabric components or swap the included decor elements to suit specific project requirements. The lighting setup is optimized for standard render plug-ins, providing a base for testing daylighting scenarios or interior atmosphere. Ensure the component scale is verified against the project model before finalizing placement.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or hotel suites, these curtains add a layer of realism to interior architectural visualizations. They pair well with minimalist furniture and neutral palettes, helping to define the space while softening the transition between exterior light and interior volume. Professionals searching for window dressings, curtain models, or complete interior staging scenes will find this asset useful for mid-stage design presentations where atmosphere and light quality are essential to the client's understanding of the space.
