About this asset

Designed for double-height residential living, this modern brown timber under-stair shelving unit is built as a Revit family with integrated TV mounting. This custom joinery assembly combines stepped circulation stairs with built-in architectural storage. A low plinth extends into wide timber steps on the left, leading to an elevated landing platform. Positioned centrally beneath the diagonal staircase stringer is a panelled white horizontal shiplap backdrop suited for a flatscreen display, flanked by low media consoles below. The ascending underside of the stair structure incorporates an open shelving tower with staggered compartments finished in deep walnut brown timber. A glass railing with a stainless steel handrail completes the integrated stair profile, creating an all-in-one millwork architectural solution.

The download is a 1.5 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this RFA component directly into your project environment and align it against supporting structural walls or interior partitions. The family acts as a primary millwork anchor for space planning in section and floor plan views. Verify elevation levels to coordinate the platform and stair run with adjacent mezzanine slabs, and adjust material parameter assignments in the family type properties to match bespoke residential finishes.

Suited for loft apartments, multi-level townhouses, and open-plan duplex residences, this piece serves compact layouts requiring clever vertical space utilisation. Interior architects specify this hybrid stair-storage unit in living rooms and reception lounges adjacent to double-height curtain wall glazing. The assembly coordinates seamlessly alongside low-slung contemporary sectional sofas, minimalist glass coffee tables, and linear architectural drop pendants. Professionals searching for bespoke stair shelving, under-stair TV walls, and integrated joinery units will find this model immediately practical.
