This IES LM-63 photometric file provides precise light distribution data for the ERCO Compar recessed Spherolit wallwasher (88164000). The ERCO Compar recessed Spherolit wallwasher (88164000) is a high-performance architectural lighting fixture designed for uniform vertical surface illumination. This photometric data represents the specific optical characteristics of the Spherolit lens system, which ensures a controlled and even wash of light across walls. The file encapsulates the intensity distribution curve, beam angle, and efficiency metrics necessary for accurate lighting design. It is calibrated for use with the specified metal halide lamp source, providing lighting engineers with the reliable performance data required to achieve precise illumination levels within professional interior environments.

The download is a 31 KB file containing .IES files.

Lighting designers and electrical engineers integrate this IES file directly into lighting calculation software or BIM environments. By loading the file into the luminaire properties, the software automatically applies the manufacturer-defined light distribution pattern to the virtual fixture. This allows for accurate simulation of light levels, glare analysis, and uniformity ratios before installation. The data ensures that the virtual lighting model behaves predictably, matching the physical performance characteristics of the hardware in real-world scenarios.

This photometric data is essential for professional lighting design in commercial, retail, and office projects where vertical surface lighting is a key design element. It is typically employed during the technical design and verification stages to ensure compliance with illumination standards. Professionals use this data to create accurate renderings and light-level reports for galleries, lobbies, and showrooms. When searching for this asset, architects and designers often look for specific luminaire performance data to support lighting simulations and project documentation.
