About this asset

This modern reception desk Revit family features a full-depth timber work surface sheltered by a raised, curved glass transaction counter. The assembly combines a straight rectilinear work station with an elevated privacy upstand and an arched transaction shelf. Constructed with solid slab side panels and a recessed modesty board, the operator desk provides ample knee space and equipment depth. Rising above the front edge, the transaction riser transitions into a cantilevered curved top crafted from thick translucent glass. Finished with contrasting warm timber tones and a darkened transition rail, the counter maintains an uncluttered, professional aesthetic suitable for modern commercial front-of-house areas.

The download is a 399 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this standard.rfa component directly into Revit interior models to quickly populate corporate frontages and reception zones. Align the unit to active floor levels in floor plan views, and rotate into place against entryway sightlines. Material mapping parameters can be adjusted in the family type properties to match specific interior joinery finishes, corporate timber laminates, or custom glass transparency values for consistent presentation in elevations and realistic renderings.

Designed specifically for commercial reception spaces, corporate lobbies, boutique hotel reception counters, and healthcare administration desks, this unit establishes a functional barrier for front-desk staff. It pairs cleanly with ergonomic office task chairs, client lounge seating, architectural suspended luminaires, and decorative acoustic wall panelling across schematic interior layouts, permit drawing sets, and rendered presentation packages.
