About this asset

This modern timber shelving unit Revit family combines upright display storage with integrated overhead photometric light sources for realistic interior scenes. The unit presents a slender, vertical profile designed with dark brown timber casing. A lower cabinet base provides enclosed concealed storage, topped by four levels of open display shelving suitable for books, art objects, or merchandise. Built into the upper cornice header are dedicated lighting fixtures with configured emission profiles that project illumination down through the shelving tiers and across the surrounding floor space. Clean exterior casework lines ensure effortless integration flush against perimeter walls or recessed alcoves.

The download is a 348 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this RFA component directly into your Revit project environment. Place the family against finished partition walls in interior elevations or plan views. The embedded photometric light sources function natively with internal rendering engines like Revit and Enscape, allowing accurate light distribution calculations and realistic accent lighting studies without requiring manually modelled spotlight fixtures.

Engineered for high-end residential living rooms, private library spaces, hotel lobbies, and executive suites, this illuminated millwork piece serves both practical storage and focal accent display needs. Interior designers and BIM technicians frequently specify it when detailing feature wall casework, media room surrounds, or boutique retail merchandise displays. It pairs seamlessly with contemporary lounge chairs, architectural trim, and polished hardwood or stone flooring.
