Modern Black Plastic Task Chair – Herman Miller Caper

Modern black task chair Revit family featuring a contoured polypropylene backrest with integrated cutout handle and a five-star caster base. Fixed armrests flank a gently dished seat pan, supported underneath by a central pneumatic column mechanism. Clean geometry defines the silhouette, pairing durable black composite materials with understated structural framing. Its utilitarian form emphasizes lightweight mobility, smooth ergonomic curves, and compact proportions suited to dynamic workspaces.

The download is a 1.9 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load the RFA component directly into your Revit project environment to populate open workstations, meeting suites, or classroom plans. As a standard furniture family, it aligns flush to the active level or host floor plane. Instance or type parameters allow rapid schedule tagging, while native 2D linework ensures clean representation in floor plans and sections without excessive polygon bloat.

This seating asset suits commercial office floor plates, educational classrooms, corporate training rooms, flexible coworking spaces, and institutional libraries. It coordinates naturally alongside modular training tables, collaborative workstations, conference desking, and mobile whiteboards. Specifiers frequently search for mobile task chair, Herman Miller Caper chair, multipurpose seating family, and caster armchair when developing detailed furniture layouts, FF&E schedules, and tender documentation.
