About this asset

This contemporary black picture frame Revit family features a wide passe-partout mat border and an integrated overhead wall picture light. Defined by a clean rectangular profile, this wall-mounted frame assembly features a slim black surround paired with a wide off-white matting border. Centered within the mat is a horizontal maritime print illustrating vintage sailing vessels on open water. Directly above the frame, a low-profile rectilinear picture light fixture extends from the wall on a compact mounting bracket, casting downward wash lighting across the artwork surface. The combination of dark framing, neutral paper mat, and brushed metal lighting hardware creates a balanced composition suited for focal architectural elevations.

The download is a 256 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a Revit family (.rfa), this component can be loaded directly into architectural project models and hosted to interior wall surfaces. Elevation views facilitate precise alignment along datum lines or relative to wainscoting and adjacent millwork. Project parameters allow users to adjust placement height, swap out diffuse image maps for custom artwork, and schedule the accessory within furnishing or decorative equipment takeoffs.

Ideally suited for high-end residential interiors, boutique hotel guestrooms, corporate executive suites, and reception waiting lounges. This framed wall art pairs naturally with consoles, credenzas, reading armchairs, or corridor picture rails. Specifiers frequently search for wall-mounted framed prints, art display lighting, gallery wall components, and framed canvas models to populate detailed design presentation views and client walkthroughs.
