Mid-Century Black Lounge Chair and Ottoman – Eames

Mid-century modern lounge chair and matching ottoman provided as a Revit family, featuring curved wood shells and dark black cushions on metal star bases. The seating set comprises an inclined lounge armchair paired with a low matching footstool. Both pieces feature molded bentwood shells in a natural timber finish supporting padded black cushions across the seat, backrest, armrests, and headrest. Metal back supports angle the upper cushion for an ergonomic reclined posture. Underneath, five-star cast metal swivel legs support the chair while a four-star base anchors the ottoman, each equipped with glides. The geometric silhouettes retain the iconic mid-century modern aesthetic, providing distinct profile definition in both plan and elevated projections.

The download is a 1.1 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this furniture family directly into Revit interior models to populate floor plans, perspectives, and presentation elevations. The component can be placed onto level work planes or active floor geometry. Standard material parameters can be adjusted via object styles or family types to modify timber grain, cushion tint, and metal reflectance for Enscape or V-Ray rendering workflows.

Suited for high-end residential living rooms, private study suites, executive commercial offices, and boutique hotel lounges. The seating configuration pairs naturally with low glass coffee tables, floor-standing reading lamps, and textured area rugs in architectural visualisation scenes. Designers commonly search for mid-century modern recliners, leather reading chairs, executive armchairs, and modernist lounge sets when specifying statement furniture pieces for client presentations.
