About this asset

This mid-century lounge chair SketchUp model features a white fabric cushion and a wooden frame, complete with a draped throw blanket. This lounge chair features a clean mid-century aesthetic, defined by a minimalist wooden frame with tapered legs and angled armrests. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a neutral white fabric, featuring horizontal channel tufting for subtle texture and comfort. A soft, patterned throw blanket is draped casually over one arm and the seat, adding a layer of realism and lived-in charm to the piece. The combination of the warm timber tones and the crisp, light upholstery makes this an ideal choice for creating inviting, airy interior spaces.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and manipulation within a scene. Users should utilise the component structure to adjust material assignments or remove the throw blanket if a cleaner look is required. For optimal performance, apply high-resolution textures to the fabric and wood surfaces after importing. The model is scaled to standard ergonomic dimensions, making it straightforward to integrate into existing architectural plans or interior design visualisations without extensive scaling adjustments.

This piece is well-suited for residential living rooms, reading nooks, or boutique hotel lobbies where a touch of classic mid-century design is desired. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables, floor lamps, and natural timber shelving. Professionals searching for comfortable accent seating, modern lounge furniture, or curated interior decor will find this asset a versatile addition to their libraries. It works particularly well in staging projects that focus on creating warm, approachable, and highly detailed contemporary living environments.
