About this asset

This rectangular plastic waste basket is a Revit family featuring a clean, modern form with a tapered profile for general use. The waste basket is defined by a simple, rectangular geometry with slightly tapered sides, creating a functional and unobtrusive aesthetic. It features a reinforced rim at the top for structural rigidity and a series of vertical ribs along its exterior faces, which add visual texture while maintaining a minimalist profile. The open-top design ensures ease of use in high-traffic environments. Constructed as a lightweight, durable unit, its neutral grey finish allows it to integrate seamlessly into various interior design schemes, from contemporary home offices to clinical healthcare settings and professional workspaces.

The download is a 72 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit family, this asset is designed for efficient placement within your BIM project. Simply load the RFA file into your project environment and host it on any floor surface. The object is lightweight, ensuring minimal impact on your model file size. You can easily adjust the material parameters within the family editor to match your specific interior finish schedule or visual requirements, ensuring consistent documentation and rendering across all project views and schedules.

This waste basket is a versatile addition to any project requiring detailed interior fit-outs. It is ideal for populating office workstations, residential home studies, commercial breakrooms, and healthcare examination rooms. Professionals looking for a standard, non-branded bin will find this asset useful for enhancing the realism of interior renders and floor plan documentation. It pairs well with modern desks, administrative furniture, and clinical cabinetry, providing a practical solution for both architectural visualization and comprehensive BIM asset management.
