Large Round Fish Tank

This large round fish tank is a Revit family featuring a cylindrical glass body supported by a dark wood base and top rim. This cylindrical aquarium features a clear glass enclosure framed by a dark, vertical-planked wood base and a matching upper rim. The design is straightforward and functional, providing a clean, contemporary aesthetic suitable for high-end residential or commercial interiors. The proportions suggest a substantial capacity, ideal for a focal feature in a living room or a hotel lobby. The materials are clearly defined, with the glass providing transparency for the interior volume, while the wood elements offer a solid, grounding contrast to the lightweight transparency of the main tank body.

The download is a 266 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

To integrate this Revit family into your project, simply load the RFA file into your current model and place it as a generic model or furniture component. The family is designed for standard floor-hosted placement. Users can modify the material parameters within the type properties to match the surrounding interior finishes. Ensure the tank is placed on a flat, stable surface within your floor plan, and coordinate with MEP consultants if you intend to model supply or drainage connections for the filtration system.

This asset is ideal for residential living spaces, hotel reception areas, or high-end office break-out zones where a statement feature is required. It pairs well with contemporary interior styles and can be used to add a living element to architectural visualisations. Professionals searching for 'aquarium BIM', 'cylindrical tank model', or 'feature decor for Revit' will find this file highly suitable for design development and presentation stages. It serves as an effective placeholder for detailed interior design schemes requiring bespoke or luxury furniture elements.
