About this asset

This Ingredient Mobile Bin is a Revit family featuring a practical sloped opening for easy access to bulk dry food supplies. The bin is constructed from durable, high-density plastic, featuring a clean, minimalist form designed for high-traffic commercial environments. It incorporates a large, angled front opening that allows for efficient scooping and access to stored contents, while the rear section remains enclosed with a flat top cover. Mounted on small, heavy-duty swivel castors, the unit is fully mobile, facilitating easy relocation for cleaning or supply replenishment. Its vertical, rectangular profile is optimised for under-counter storage or placement within busy back-of-house kitchen layouts, maintaining a hygienic and organised workspace for professional chefs and operators.

The download is a 625 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is intended for placement within commercial kitchen layouts or pantry areas. Users can load the RFA into their project and snap it to floor levels, benefiting from its lightweight geometry that keeps file performance high. It can be easily moved or copied to populate large-scale production kitchens. While it is a static model, its clear, simple form ensures it displays effectively in both plan and 3D views for coordination and space planning.

This asset is essential for professional kitchen design, specifically in hospitality, restaurant, and large-scale catering facilities. It pairs seamlessly with stainless steel prep tables, commercial shelving units, and industrial kitchen cabinetry. Architects and kitchen consultants use this type of bin to ensure proper clearance and circulation paths in food preparation zones.
