About this asset

This wall-mounted green rubber water hose Revit family is a functional site detail for residential and garden project visualizations. This utility asset features a coiled green rubber hose neatly suspended on a simple, minimalist grey metal wall bracket. The form is straightforward and utilitarian, designed to represent a standard garden hose storage solution. The coils are rendered with consistent circular geometry, creating a tidy appearance suitable for exterior elevations or site plans. The bracket is a basic plate-and-hook assembly, providing a clean, unobtrusive look that avoids cluttering the architectural model while maintaining essential site-level detail. It is a compact, lightweight component ideal for adding realism to exterior render scenes.

The download is a 471 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this component into your project as a wall-hosted family to ensure correct placement against building facades or retaining walls. Because it is a simple geometry, it is efficient to use in large site plans without significantly impacting file performance. Users can apply custom material parameters to the hose and bracket to match specific project requirements or colour palettes. Ensure the family is placed on an appropriate workset, such as site furniture or exterior equipment, for easy visibility management.

This hose is an essential detail for residential landscaping projects, terrace designs, and garden layouts. It adds a necessary layer of lived-in realism to outdoor spaces, pairing well with exterior faucets, potting benches, or shed models. Professionals often use this when detailing the functional aspects of a home's exterior, specifically near utility areas or back garden entrances. It is a standard asset for site plans, exterior perspectives, and walkthroughs where the goal is to depict a complete, functional living environment.
