About this asset

This generic cotton bud Revit family provides a precise 3D representation of a standard personal hygiene tool for interior staging. This simple, lightweight Revit family features a slender cylindrical shaft with soft, rounded cotton tips at both ends. The model maintains a clean, straightforward geometry, accurately reflecting the proportions of a standard dual-ended cotton swab. The material application distinguishes the paper-based stem from the fibrous white heads, ensuring a clear visual separation in orthographic and perspective views. It is a non-parametric, static component designed for minimal impact on project file size while providing the necessary level of detail for close-up interior rendering or technical bathroom documentation.

The download is a 389 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Users can load this component into any Revit project as a generic model. Because it is a small-scale asset, it is best suited for populating vanity surfaces, medicine cabinets, or clinical amenity trays within bathroom or spa scenes. When placing the family, ensure the host surface is set correctly to avoid floating geometry. It is recommended to manage this asset through a dedicated sub-category to keep the project browser organised when dealing with multiple small-scale interior props.

This asset is ideal for high-end residential bathroom visualisations, hotel suite interior design, and healthcare facility staging. It pairs effectively with vanity sets, ceramic sanitaryware, and various bathroom accessories to add a layer of lived-in realism to a space. Professionals working on interior fit-outs will find this useful when creating detailed perspectives for client presentations or architectural documentation where small bathroom details are required to communicate the intended function and atmosphere of a private or clinical washroom environment.
