About this asset

This clear acrylic straw dispenser is a Revit family featuring a minimalist countertop design for commercial food service areas. This countertop straw dispenser features a clean, minimalist design constructed from transparent, high-clarity acrylic. Its rectangular form includes a slanted top section for easy access and a dedicated internal compartment for neat straw alignment. The construction is simple and functional, focusing on transparency to allow staff to easily monitor stock levels. The compact footprint makes it suitable for placement on service counters, condiment stations, or bar tops. The material properties provide a neutral aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into various interior styles, from high-traffic commercial cafes to casual dining settings.

The download is a 727 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this component is typically deployed as a generic model or furniture family. Users can place it onto counter surfaces using face-based or work-plane hosted constraints to ensure alignment with service joinery. The clear material is defined by a transparent glass or plastic parameter, allowing for efficient rendering in project visualisations. Ensure the family is placed on a level surface within the project model to maintain proper spatial orientation and visibility in both plan and 3D views.

This item is essential for detailing back-of-house or front-of-house service areas in cafes, cafeterias, bars, and restaurants. It pairs effectively with other service accessories like napkin holders, condiment dispensers, and cutlery organisers. Professionals should search for this asset when working on interior design schemes for hospitality projects, food courts, or breakroom facilities. It is particularly useful during the FF&E specification stage to provide realistic detail for service counter layouts and to communicate operational functionality within a proposed floor plan.
