About this asset

This modern blue and white plastic lactation room signage is a Revit family featuring a standard nursing icon, text, and braille detailing. This wall-mounted signage unit features a high-contrast blue background with white graphics and text. The design includes a clear, universally recognised icon of a nursing mother, positioned above the bold text reading Lactation Room. A horizontal divider separates the icon from the text, while a row of raised braille characters is integrated at the base to ensure accessibility compliance. The rectangular panel has rounded corners, providing a clean and professional appearance suitable for public and private facilities. The geometry is flat and lightweight, designed for clear readability and simple wall application in various interior environments.

The download is a 748 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this signage family is designed for wall-hosted placement. Users can easily insert the component onto interior wall surfaces within the project model. The family is parametrically defined to allow for quick adjustment to wall thickness or alignment. It is recommended to place these signs on the latch side of the door at the height specified by local building accessibility codes to ensure proper project documentation and compliance with design standards.

This sign is essential for wayfinding in commercial, healthcare, and educational facilities where dedicated nursing or lactation rooms are required. It pairs well with contemporary interior signage systems in office buildings, airports, shopping centres, and hospitals. Architects and interior designers should use this asset during the late design development and construction documentation phases to denote accessible spaces.
