About this asset

This standing woman silhouette Revit family provides a simple 2D staffage element to populate architectural drawings and renderings. The model consists of a simplified 2D line-work silhouette representing a standing woman. It is designed specifically for use in Revit views to provide scale and context to floor plans, sections, or elevations. The geometry is purely linear, composed of continuous vector lines that define the figure's outline and internal features, such as clothing and facial profiles. It is a lightweight component that ensures minimal impact on project file size while remaining legible across various scales. The figure is depicted in an upright, neutral pose, making it suitable for generic interior or exterior scenes.

The download is a 2.9 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

To use this component, load the family into your project and place it as a detail component or generic model within your view. Because the geometry is two-dimensional, it is best suited for elevation or section views where it can be placed directly on the floor level. Users should manage its visibility via sub-categories or view filters to ensure the silhouette does not interfere with technical documentation or construction detailing in complex architectural drawings.

This silhouette is essential for adding human scale to architectural presentations and design development packages. It is frequently employed in residential, commercial, or retail projects to demonstrate the intended use of space, such as demonstrating circulation or occupancy in lobbies, dining areas, or retail showrooms. Professionals typically use these assets during the schematic design and design development phases to communicate the spatial experience to clients. It pairs well with other 2D entourage elements, such as furniture families or vegetation, to create cohesive, readable visualisations.
