About this asset

This Revit family consists of two Palmilla potted plants, featuring detailed green foliage for architectural visualisation projects. This asset features a pair of Palmilla plants, characterised by their slender, arching stems and vibrant, feathery fronds. The geometry is stylised to represent the natural, spreading habit of tropical palms, making them suitable for adding organic texture to interior or exterior scenes. The plants are presented in a simple, compact arrangement, with stems emerging from a central base, allowing for easy placement within architectural models. The foliage is designed to provide a realistic visual presence without excessive polygon count, ensuring a balance between aesthetic detail and project performance in Revit.

The download is a 584 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit family, this asset can be loaded directly into your project environment and placed as a standard component. It is best utilised in floor plans for spatial planning or in 3D views for rendering purposes. Users should manage the visibility of this family through object styles or worksets to ensure efficient viewport performance. When preparing for high-quality visualisations, ensure the material parameters are correctly mapped in the rendering engine to maintain the natural appearance of the foliage.

These plants are ideal for populating residential lobbies, hospitality lounges, and modern office atriums where a touch of greenery is required to soften architectural lines. They pair effectively with minimalist or contemporary furniture, providing a natural contrast to hard surfaces like concrete or glass. Professionals often search for such assets when specifying interior landscaping or adding final details to presentation renders. They are suitable for all project stages, from early conceptual massing to final documentation and high-end marketing visualisations.
