About this asset

This modern white sailboat Revit family provides a clean, geometric representation of a leisure watercraft for site context models. This sailboat features a simplified, modern aesthetic with a streamlined hull and two prominent sails. The form is composed of clean, sharp edges and basic geometric volumes, prioritising visual clarity for architectural site plans and massing studies. The hull is rendered in a solid white finish, while the sails are depicted in a contrasting neutral grey tone. The mast and boom are integrated into the primary structure. This model is designed for low-impact performance in large-scale masterplans, ensuring that site context does not overwhelm the primary architectural model while maintaining recognisable silhouette and scale.

The download is a 348 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this Revit family directly into your project environment as a component. It is best used for site entourage in exterior views, sections, or site plans. Users should manage visibility by assigning the object to a specific 'Entourage' subcategory within the Visibility/Graphics overrides to easily toggle it off during technical documentation phases. Given its simplified geometry, it is ideal for maintaining file performance in complex site models and can be easily scaled to suit different watercraft types.

This asset is suited for residential, hospitality, or urban waterfront developments, particularly during the concept and design development stages. It effectively populates marinas, lakefront properties, or coastal site plans, adding scale and life to outdoor renderings. Architects and landscape designers can use this to establish a sense of place in masterplanning projects. It pairs well with other site entourage elements such as water features, quays, and landscaping components to create a cohesive exterior environment for client-facing presentations or high-level design reviews.
