About this asset

This Revit family provides a detailed military Humvee with a roof-mounted machine gun, designed for site context and visualization. The model represents a standard military Humvee, characterised by its angular, wide-bodied profile and rugged tactical design. Finished in a matte desert tan, the exterior features reinforced body panels, heavy-duty wheels, and a prominent roof-mounted machine gun turret. The glazing is tinted, and the vehicle includes essential details like antennas and rear light assemblies. The geometry captures the vehicle's characteristic low-slung, boxy stance, providing a realistic representation for site plans, master planning, or military base simulation projects where high-fidelity vehicle assets are required for spatial context.

The download is a 2.1 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Users can load this RFA file directly into a Revit project as a generic model or entourage component. Due to its nature as a site asset, it is best placed on a site plan or exterior massing model. To maintain project performance, keep the asset on a dedicated workset or layer that can be toggled off during detailed documentation phases. Ensure the scale is correctly verified against existing site topography or reference planes upon insertion.

This asset is ideal for landscape architects, urban designers, and civil engineers working on military installations, disaster relief planning, or industrial site layouts. It serves as essential site entourage to provide scale and narrative depth to exterior renderings and master plans. Professionals might search for this when needing tactical vehicles for simulation environments or high-detail site context. It pairs effectively with other site furniture, terrain models, and vegetation to create a comprehensive, realistic exterior scene for client presentations or technical site documentation.
