Contemporary Natural Wood and Stone Kitchen Island Set

This contemporary SketchUp kitchen island set features a natural wood base, a stone countertop, and two matching black stools. This kitchen island assembly combines a warm natural wood cabinet base with a light beige, veined stone countertop, offering a clean contemporary aesthetic. The unit incorporates an integrated black undermount sink with a minimalist faucet. A significant overhang on one side provides a breakfast bar area, which is paired with two sleek, black-finished stools featuring curved backs and slender legs. The joinery is simple, with horizontal handle-less drawer fronts that maintain a seamless, minimalist profile. The overall composition balances organic textures with sharp, functional elements, suitable for modern open-plan kitchen designs.

The download is a 12.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is structured as a component for easy placement and alignment against walls or within an open floor plan. Users should manage the geometry using tags to toggle the visibility of the stools versus the island itself. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp textures; ensure the stone surface mapping is adjusted to maintain scale. For rendering, consider applying high-resolution bump maps to the stone and adjusting the reflection settings on the metal faucet to achieve a realistic finish.
