About this asset

This Logitech 920 Webcam is a Revit family featuring the iconic desktop camera design for detailed interior office visualisations. The model represents a standard USB-connected webcam, characterised by its wide, rectangular lens housing and integrated mounting clip. The geometry captures the rounded edges and the central circular lens assembly typical of this hardware. Finished in a matte black, the physical form is compact and designed to sit atop monitors or flat-panel screens. Every detail, from the textured front face to the hinged base mechanism, is modelled to maintain a realistic appearance within a digital environment, ensuring that the peripheral integrates naturally into professional office desk setups or home workstation scenes.

The download is a 584 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is typically placed on work surfaces or hosted to the top edge of a monitor component. Users should ensure the object is loaded into the project and placed using the component tool. Because it is a small-scale peripheral, it is best placed in a dedicated furniture assembly. Adjust visibility settings to ensure it appears correctly in both plan and 3D views, and use standard material overrides if the default appearance requires refinement for specific rendering outputs.

This asset is essential for populating contemporary office environments, home study areas, and corporate meeting rooms. It pairs well with modern computer monitors, ergonomic task chairs, and clean-lined work desks. Architects and interior designers use this model to add a layer of authenticity to workplace projects, particularly when documenting teleconferencing capabilities or modern digital infrastructure. It is ideal for high-detail interior renderings where the human element and the tools of the modern professional trade are required to convey a lived-in, functional space.
